Lizzie's ideal home

Lizzie is looking for a home who’ll match her awesome energy & enjoy taking her on walks, & engaging her brain in enrichment games. She would like a secure private garden for lots of toilet breaks and running around in. Lizzie is not great with other dogs, and is increibly vocal on walks, and will pull towards them. She has had a few unsuccesfull dog meets and at this stage would need to be the only dog with no visiting dogs. We feel that an understanding of dachshund breed traits is desirable. She’d like someone home for a majority of the day while she settles in to her new home.

Lizzie is a total cuddle bug, she loves to jump up on the furniture and snuggle beside you, or sit on your lap. She does get excited and jumps up when getting ready to go walking and can pull on the lead, so would benefit from further loose lead walking training. She enjoys playing with soft toys that she can shake around. Lizzie knows some basic commands such as sit.
