Rolo's ideal home
Meet Rolo - a gorgeous 2 year old Dachshund looking for his forever home. Rolo would love to be the only dog in the home, with all children 8yrs+. Rolo is a really sweet boy who came into our care through no fault of his own. He enjoys his food and tasty treats, so this will be a good help in making friends! He is looking for a family that are wanting to take him on lots of sniffy walks to keep his brain busy, followed by a snuggle on the sofa. Rolo loves playing with his toys and would like a whole bucket full in his new home!
In standard Dachshund fashion, Rolo can be quite barky and is a little bit unsure around other dogs so this may need a little bit of work, but we know he'll be a wonderful companion for the right family!
Could you be Rolo's perfect match?
Rolo would be looking for a reasonably busy home, and has been left alone previously for 1-4 hours so there is scope for this to be the case in the new home too, once built up. Rolo is toilet-trained but may need some reminding in the new environment.
Rolo walks well on lead but does pull a bit, so this may need a little bit of work - but with a tasty treat or two, he'll pick up his loose lead walking in no time! He can be a little worried with new people initially but does warm up very quickly and it won't take long to become best friends!
