About This Dog

Frank's ideal home

Frank is worried by new people so will need a home where he can be gradually introduced to visitors and that has the ability to separate him when needed. Frank is a very vocal boy, towards people, dogs and noises so will need a quiet home where he can settle, away from busy roads and making use of less populated dog walking areas. Due to this, Frank would not suit a family that wish to take a dog everywhere with them. Frank will bark towards other dogs but is slowly growing in confidence, so will need to be the only dog in the home, continuing his socialisation out and about. He cannot live with cats but small furries may be considered if they are kept separately from him. Frank would be best suited to a home where any children are calm, sensible and of upper secondary school ages, he would not be suitable for young visiting children. It isn't essential for Frank to have access to a garden but if so it would need to be private and secure. Frank can struggle to be left alone so would love his family to be around most of the time, working on his time spent alone slowly as he settles in. Frank will also need a home that are willing to continue to work on his housetraining.

Could you be Frank's perfect match?

Frank is our 1 year old Dachshund that has a lot of personality for his tiny body! Frank can be an anxious boy so would love a quiet, patient home where he has the space to grow in confidence. Once warmed up, Frank likes to get all the fuss and attention from his people and his playful side is starting to shine with his love for squeaky toys! Frank will surely make a great addition to a home that is dedicated to his ongoing training, exposing him to the big wide world at a pace that suits him.
