About These Puppies

I have 4 beautiful healthy boys available. They are already KC Registered and I provide the new owners with a 5 generation pedigree that is produced by KC on their stationery so that you know you are getting a genuine pedigree pup that has not been crossed with any other breed.

They have been wormed twice (as per recommended protocols) had 1st vaccine, vet health checked and are microchipped. You will be given their vet cards.

They are using puppy mats and have very healthy apetites. I have fed them on Royal Canin wet and dry puppy food. They also have cooked chicken, cooked minced beef and cooked minced pork - nothing is raw as its full of bacteria.

My puppies live in my home and are treated as if they are staying so I give them all names, which you can of course change. They sleep in my bedroom at night. 

They will leave me with some food that they are on at the time of collection, some new toys similar to what they now play with and a scent blanket that has the smell of their siblings on it.  These things all make the transition to their forever home easier for them. 

I live close to major motorways M6 M1 and M62 and rail/metro links

Dachshund Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Dachshund.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy without you viewing it first
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Dachshund Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website
  • Seller asks you to send money to a bank account with a different name to the person you have been communicating with
  • The dog/puppy is advertised significantly cheaper than similar listings
