About This Dog

Tinsel's ideal home

Tinsel is a 2yr old Dachshund who is looking for quiet household where she can have time and patience to build her confidence. Any children would ideally be sensible secondary school age. Tinsel would like to be the only pet in the home, but in time she could build up to having some dog friends out on walks. She is a little worried when meeting new people so may need any potential adopters to come and meet her a few time first. She will need some help with training in a few areas, this may include house training and getting used to travelling in a vehicle.

Could you be Tinsel's perfect match?

Although Tinsel is a little nervous, she has been friendly with everyone she has met and does walk nicely on lead.
Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
