About This Dog

Fritz's ideal home

Fritz is a 2-year-old boy looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to build his confidence. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but his friendly nature quickly shines through once he feels comfortable. Fritz would suit patient adopters who are happy to go at his pace and help him learn the basics, as he’s had a sheltered start and will need some ongoing training, including housetraining. He has a medium energy level, enjoying walks and exploring new places just as much as relaxing on the sofa for a cuddle. Fritz can live with dog-savvy children aged 11+ who understand his need for space and will respect his boundaries. He can be left for short periods once settled, but this will need to be built up gradually in his new home.

Could you be Fritz's perfect match?

Fritz is confident and very friendly when meeting other dogs out and about, and would love some regular walking buddies to socialise with. However, he prefers not to share his home or belongings with other dogs, so he will need to be the only pet in the household. With the right balance of patience, structure, and love, Fritz has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a sweet-natured dog who will reward your time and care with companionship and cuddles, Fritz could be the perfect match for you.

Gromit could live with children if they understand when to give him space and he would benefit from an enclosed garden to stay
