About This Dog

Spencer's ideal home

Meet Spencer! As we have no history on Spencer with children, this smiley chap is on the lookout for his forever home where everyone is aged 14+ and confident around dogs. He would prefer to be the only pet in his new home as he enjoys getting all the attention to himself! He would also love an enclosed garden space where he can run freely and play his favourite game, fetch! Spencer can be a tad shy to begin with, but doesn't take long to warm up to you. He just loves his people so much that Spencer isn't keen on spending a lot of time alone so would appreciate some company most of the day until leaving time can be built gradually once settled.

Could you be Spencer's perfect match?

Spencer is a beautiful 4-year-old Dachshund. We do feel he'd be better suited to a home with breed experience, but this is not essential. Spencer is a keen walker and loves getting out and about for daily adventures! He will benefit from quieter walking areas while he is settling in to his new home. As is common with his breed, Spencer can be a chatty boy when out and about or meeting new people so this is something his adopters will need to work on in the home. If you feel you have room on your sofa for this adorable boy, follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" Spencer!
