About This Dog

Basil's ideal home

Meet Basil - a lovely 4 year old Miniature Dachshund looking for his forever home. He is incredibly affectionate and truly thrives on human company. He would prefer a home where he is the only dog so he can truly soak up all of the attention! He loves to have a play with his toys especially a tennis ball! He is happy to travel in the car and enjoys getting out for his walks. He is not too fond of the rain and would much rather cuddle up in front of the fire. Basil will need a refresher on some of his basic training like sit, lie down etc.

Could you be Basil's perfect match?

Basil can live with children of primary school age and up. He will need a home where his people are at home a lot as he is at his happiest when he is with his people! Basil uses steps to get onto the sofa to protect his back so his future family will need to consider this! Basil can be a little shy at the beginning but does warm up to people quickly. If you are looking for a lovely little lapdog to keep you company please submit an application and add him as a 'Favourite'!
