Twirl's ideal home

Twirl is a a delicate girl who would love to find a quiet home. She won't want to live with young children but could live with sensible secondary school aged kids. Twirl has the potential to live with other dogs. She especially gets on with dogs that are on the smaller side like her. Possible matches would be subject to a mix in centre prior to rehoming.

Twirl is a 3 year old Miniature Dachshund. She shows signs of having had puppies fairly recently, and was found as a stray so understandably she’s a bit worried at the moment. She will need patient and steady owners who will take their time with her. Home life is a complete unknown and so an introduction to the basics might be welcomed. She does settle in her kennel though, so has potential to be left home alone for a couple of hours, and really tries to keep her kennel clean so housetraining hopefully shouldn’t take long. Car travel is an unknown but she was very avoidant during our in centre assessments so she won’t want this to be a necessity at first. We’re sure her proper cheeky Dachshund personality will come out more and more once she settles in.
